Either food or killer, Hunter or prey
Nature favors the strong, survival of the species
Primitive aggression, a king among beasts
Dominant upon a savage domain
Defender of the tribe, the chosen one
Entrusted with the fate of it's kind
This strength gifted from the elders
Years of sacrifice, learning to raise the next warrior
Relive the Legacy
Centuries of violence
Through dormant memories
Just an animal, forced to evolve
Beneath the rational stare
Lies a feral, dangerous despair
By fear, awakened
Cornered and vicious
Like a primal detonator
Awaiting to devour
A patient prowler awaiting the moment
To strike a perfect blow, fierce and precise
Written in the code, genetic weapon
Flawless bloodline, Breeding the champion
Protector of the age of reason
I am the sword, both the future and the past
Powered by the wisdom from the fathers of my father
Born to master the art of my ancestors
Generations of victims and victors
Compelled to feast upon the flesh, they desire
Cycle of lives, taken and given
A compulsive need to defeat and conquer
At the end, alone
On a desolate throne to reign over nothing
Just an animal, forced to evolve
Beneath the rational stare
Lies a feral, dangerous despair

First WTF was google music actually throwing something good into my feed.
Second WTF was everything every goddamn member of this band does. This and the previous album have been on repeat for weeks. All other music tastes like diet water. Help. Gruso

Archspire is wholly unique for their ability to write music that is this insanely technical, but also actually catchy and memorable. Absolutely one-of-a-kind band. Kadin Wisniewski

When the production is bearable, Exocrine is probably the best tech death band in the world. This and Molten Giant are two of the best records in the genre. The last album had some real production defects that kicked me out (lawn sprinkler drum sound), but The Hybrid Suns is everything you could want in a tech death album. So unbelievably intricate and yet so much fun. It’s impossible to pick a favorite track. Metallurgical Fire
